The sandy beach and the shining orb of the Sun really makes my day brightened up... I stared at the dilapidated house at the distant horizon. I had longed to go there and explore around in it. But, the stupid naggy troublesome vampire kept going about me chanting in my ears that I should keep away from the house which she described it as *HAUNTED HOUSE*! Utterly stupid! Nonsense! I hope that I was not her child! I would rather be an orphan than her children! But whenever I looked at the house, I would somehow felt strange in me like some voices are echoing around in my mind... So,I decided for a moment,tomorrow early in the morning,I'm going to explore it.If I would find any treasures,I would be famous!So I hurriedly completed my work and went to sleep early to have enough energy for tommorow... Next morning,when the first beam of light shone into my room,I quickly tidied up my bedroom and dashed to the dining room at full speed to eat my nutritious breakfast. I stuffed two slices of bread into to my mouth, two eggs and drank a cup of warm milk. Then I prepared a big bag and stuffed all sort of tibits,snacks and filled up a waterbottle. Mum saw it and stopped me. I was shocked and started sweting cold swet and turned around and froced a smile on my face. Then, I slowly replied," Mum, later I will be going to school for a camp." She quickly gave me a sleeping bag and a torch. "Good gracious!" I thought. Luckily mum reminded me to bring them along. It was soon 10 AM.I quickly grabbed all the things and waved goodbye to her. But she insisted on bringing me to school. As I am quick mind, I screamed,"MUM! I'M NOT A BABY ANYMORE!" She looked at me with sad eyes and I told her I will come back soon. So,after much persuadtion, she finally allowed me to go on myself. Phew, what a relieve.-witten by yt and some parts edited by dw1
" Starre! Come back here at once! Stop loitering around out there! You are really getting on my nerves nowadays, Starre! You told me that you are first in class but it came about that you were the first from bottom!" shouted Mum across the field with echo from the mountains.I sighed and run back towards mum.Again,I had to help out with the chores.Doing all those work was very dull.None of the neighbours' mum allowed their children to play with me and it kept me lonely most of the time.2
I pretended to walk towards the direction of the school for a distance.Making sure she had went back into the house, I turned back and walked towards my destination...
Soon,I was at the foot of the spooky house and I could feel the excitement going around me.Then I hurried towards the door.I pushed the door gently and slid into the house boldly. It was not as bright as I thought as if some light will go in like in the storybooks I had read if they explore it during the day.This was totally different!The whole place was in utter darkness!
Just as I stepped in,the door slammed shut tightly.It certainly started to become spooky...The whole place was so qiuet that it feels like hurting to my ear.I tried to find the handle knob of the door,but I could not feel anything.My bravery started to turn timid. My eyes were adjusted to the darkness after awhile as I glimpse around the house to find out that it was florished with expensive furnitures made of leather, gold and framework but it was filled with cobwebs now. I saunter around and...to be continued,....
